About This Site
This is my lifting, running and power-building journal.
Documenting things here related to exercise, lifting, and nutrition:
- Journals
- Workout logs
- Reading notes
- Nutrition, recipes, diet stuff
- Training/programming info
The big idea is to get everything health/fitness/training-related in one place, in order to build a knowledge base for managing that information.
I also believe in the virtues of exercise, documentation, and sharing — but I'm not big on the ways we choose to do it (i.e. thirst traps on social media).
I try to keep it updated throughout the week, and plan to begin updating it more frequently as I end up using it more and building a more streamlined content upload workflow.
Naturally, this is also partly just an accountability project for myself.
About the Stack
One thing about Obsidian I'm trying to make better use of is their graph visualization. My theory is that using it for these various purposes will help make connecting the dots between all four of these sorts of note-taking easier. I also believe it will help with information retrieval and the derivation of insights, considering Obsidian's plugin extensibility.
